Meet Hajar
I sat down with Hajar last month, right in the middle of her craziest travel stretch this year.
She was still warm, still present, still lighting up the room. That's just who she is.
We talked about family.
She said something shifted for her in the last few years. She started prioritising them more. Calling more. Visiting more.
Having a remote job made that possible. She can now go see her family in Morocco whenever she needs to, not just when the calendar allows it.
We also talked about football.
She played on the street as a kid. Then for her university team. Then she became captain.
She told me that's where she really learned what teamwork means.
In football, even if the goal isn't yours, you celebrate it together.
She carries that into how she works today.
One more thing stuck with me.
Her to-do list isn't an app. It's a notebook.
She tried going digital. It didn't stick.
Writing it down, crossing it off by hand, is what keeps her moving.
I do the same thing. It's a small habit, but it works.
